We understand. You make an honest mistake in your checking account. Unusual or unforeseen circumstances arise at just the wrong time. That's why St. Louis Postal Credit Union
offers Courtesy Pay - a service for qualified members that adds a measure of protection to your personal checking account. Should you inadvertantly overdraw your checking account,
funds for overdrafts will first come from your Overdraft Protection. If sufficient funds are not available, then at the credit union's discretion, we may elect to cover your overdrafts
up to $500 for Standard, Eagle Advantage Plus, and Deluxe Checking accounts, as outlined in the Discretionary Courtesy Overdraft Policy. Should an overdraft occur,
your account will be charged $20.00 for handling each item paid by the Discretionary Courtesy Pay.
Therefore, when your checks are paid, Courtesy Pay will save you the embarrassment and inconvenience of a returned check as well as the fee normally charged to you by merchants for checks returned to them.
